Do you feel represented by the discourse surrounding the forest and the northern region? For a long time, the Amazon has been used to serve the interests of large corporations and people who only see it as a place for uncontrolled extraction. We believe that our people, who live off this land, need to be protagonists in decisions about their own territory. Your voice needs to be heard; your participation makes a difference.
The Plantaformas Movement should be formed by all of us; it is a grassroots initiative on climate change. A digital environment where we can meet with people from all over the Brazilian Amazon to share ideas and proposals to combat climate problems in the region, but from our point of view. Yours. Within your city, your neighborhood, your community, what can change? What kind of proposal would help control the damage? A city with more green areas? Incentives for recycling? Information initiatives?
On the Movimento Plantaformas website, you can propose ideas like this. Sign up and encourage your friends, family, and neighbors to do the same. Share your idea and create your project. The more people interact, the louder our voice becomes and the greater our chances of organizing to bring about the changes we want to see.
